Les gendarmes du peloton autoroute du Mans, en service sur l'autoroute A28 à hauteur de la commune de Vivoin, ont contrôlé un automobiliste à la vitesse de 210 km/h au lieu de 130 km/h. Le conducteur britannique, au volant d'une LAMBORGHINI Murcielago, a du payer sur-le-champ une amende de 750 € et a perdu son permis. Le véhicule a été repris par le passager, propriétaire de l'engin.
Pour rappel, sous le capot se cache un bloc V12 6,5 litres placé en position longitudinale arrière qui développe la puissance maximale de 640 chevaux à 8.000 tr/min et le couple atteint 660 Nm à 6.000 tr/min. La LP 640-4 atteint une vitesse maximale de 340 km/h. L'accélération de 0 à 100 km/h se fait en 3,4 secondes.
